5K & 10K race

It's this Saturday at the Lake Shawnee. I was going to do the 5K, but decided not to. I really need another race before it gets cold, but last weekend my knee started hurting really bad. Last Saturday, I could barely walk and I played soccer on it. By evening, it got worse. I was able to go out & run 4 miles last night. It was getting cold, but my knee felt fine.

Anyway, since I won't be able to run the race, I will be volunteering at the race. Have to show up around 6.30am to help setup everything. I hope a lot of people shows up, it will be fun.

Anyone interested in running the race or just walking click here or the link below for the registration form. The registration starts at 7am & the race at 8am.

Good Luck.

Rollover in Flickr

So, I got the idea yesterday and had been thinking about it. Finally, over launch today I posted the topic in flickr's idea forum. Here's what I wrote:

"OK, most of us know how rollover minute works at Cingular. The minutes you didn't use gets rolled over to the next month and so forth. Well, what does flickr has to do with it?!

I think it would be great if flickr offered the same thing with its UPLOAD LIMITS. And it should be offered to both paid & non paid user. The idea is very simple.

For example, consider a non paid (i.e. free) user with a 20MB upload limits each month. Month 1, the user only used 5MB. Month 2, he/she has 25MB and so forth. At the end of the year, any unused limits will be removed, again just like Cingular.

So, in theory flickr is giving each free user 240MB capacity each year. Simple.

Thanks."

Let me know what you guys think? Together maybe we can all encourage flickr to implement this feature. Here's a link to the forum:

Andre Agassi

I love tennis. It is the one sport I can watch for hours & hours. Here's a little tribute to Andre Agassi by BBC. I think they could have done a much better job, but hey something is better than nothing. I guess. Just click on the liknk & it shows Agassi over the years. Funny how time & people changes...

While my favorites are, in Women:

Amelie Mauresmo

and in Men:

Goran Ivanisevic

flickr test

Ok, finally I got this flickr thing figured out. Somewhat. Got too many things in mind, and to do. Anyway, all you have to do is click on the picture & it will take you to the slide show. The default speed is kinda slow (I think) so, you can just scroll the mouse over & set the speed as you like.

UPDATE:
I've been playing with the blogger beta a lot lately & I kinda like it. At first that wasn't the impression though. Anyway, now you notice "My Picture Collection" on the right. Just clik on it, adjust the speed & you can view the pictures. Let me know what you think?! Thanks.
