A Builder or a Solver?

Last night over dinner, my brother made a comment. I didn't thought about then until much later in the night. This is how the conversation went:

"You know the difference between you and me?"

me: I just looked at him like what? What is the difference?

"You like Sci-fi and I like Thrillers."

Well, I know that already so, what's new about it? Well, he loves loud rock music, choice of movie: action & thriller. He also takes things at its face value without putting too much thought into it.

Whereas, I love trance, classical music also, and choice of movie: Sci-fi. Also, I question things, everything. I will also analyze things in my mind over & over before accepting it. This of course, brings us back to what I had mentioned on a previous post.

State of Trance & restaurant Menus

I think, usually people who's more into sci-fi movies can be categorized as builders. Meaning, from a Video Game perspective, they like to create the actual game. Create puzzle by asking more questions, through their imagination pushing the limit.

Whereas, people who likes Thrillers can be categorized as solvers. Meaning, again from a video game perspective, they are more concern with the aftermath. They like to play the game, trying on different paths.

So, which one are you? A Builder or a Solver?
